John Riches and Samantha Morgan founded RMW Law in 2011 after both working as senior lawyers at the leading international firm Withers LLP for 15 years from 1996; John was a partner throughout and headed the private client group for many years. In May 2021, we were joined by a new partner, Stuart Skeffington. |
| As a niche practice, John, Samantha and Stuart are free to work with our clients and other advisers on a collaborative basis. Throughout our extensive careers, we have built up a wide array of suitable contacts with advisers whom we can happily introduce to a family alongside ourselves. We are accustomed to assisting families to select other service providers such as professional trustees and protectors and often conduct formal tender processes on the client's behalf where required. |
| Stuart was formerly a partner at Withers, but for the past 10 years was head of private client at leading regional firm Stevens & Bolton LLP. Stuart works with successful families based in the UK, many in the Home Counties, and around the world. He has a particular interest in estate and tax planning for entrepreneurial clients, and is recognised as a leader in his field in multiple directories. |

John, Samantha and Stuart are quite happy to take the lead role in project managing an overall process or a relevant part of it as well as providing our general professional expertise and input with others taking a lead.
John, Samantha and Stuart also remain as consultants in the private client team at Withers LLP in London.
Our work is primarily by referral from existing clients and contacts rather than through marketing.
